About Scientific Oasis (SCIO)
As a publisher, Scientific Oasis (SCIO) distributes open-access journals subject to rigorous peer review and compliant with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). SCIO promotes academic publishing and strives to maintain the highest publishing standards through journals in various scientific and engineering fields. In addition to scientific journals, SCIO is committed to publishing academic books, monographs, and proceedings of scientific conferences.
Open access
Scientific journals published by SCIO are open access; research articles, reviews, or any other content on this platform are freely available to anyone. To be able to provide Open Access (OA) journals, we finance publication with our funds and through Article Processing Charge (APC). Information is displayed on the journal's web pages if the journal charges APC.
OA is unrestricted online access to scientific and scholarly information, making published academic research freely and permanently available online. OA enables greater accessibility and visibility of academic papers, leading to greater citations and significant research impact. Through OA, readers have barrier-free access to the literature they need for research, as subscription costs do not limit access.
SCIO defines open access as follows: a peer-reviewed paper is freely available without subscription or price barriers, the article is published immediately in an open access format (with no embargo period), and published material can be reused without obtaining permissions provided proper citation is provided original publications. Please note that some materials, such as figures, tables, or texts in papers, may be from other publications. In this case, you should check with the original copyright holder whether this material can be reused.
Article processing charge
SCIO publishes all its journals with full OA. No financing and financial sponsorships. APC covers the cost of reviews, copy and production services, data conversion, and distribution of published content, among other publishing functions. SCIO does not charge APC for rejected papers. In addition, some items (Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published free of charge. Please check the page of each journal where APC billing is defined.
License
SCIO publishes articles under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BI) license. SCIO advocates for open-access publishing to encourage research exchange among scholars, especially across disciplines.
Archiving & Repository Policy
All journals published by SCIO are published with digital identifiers (DOIs) and submitted to Crossref. SCIO allows and encourages authors to publish their manuscripts before and after publication, including the published version, the accepted version, and the submitted version for self-archiving and/or archiving in an embargo-free institutional repository. This practice encourages the exchange of papers between authors and encourages greater citation of published articles.
Publication Ethics Statement
SCIO undertakes to conduct rigorous peer review along with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure the publication of the highest quality scientific papers. SCIO takes such publishing ethics issues very seriously at every level. Our staff is trained to identify and report any irregularities. Our editors maintain a zero-tolerance policy, enforce COPE core practices and guidelines, and quickly process complex cases of plagiarism, falsification of data, authorship credits, and the like.
Data Sharing Policy
Authors are encouraged to share and make available any data and materials that support the results or analyses presented in their paper. Research data can be uploaded to repositories with access information included in the paper. Any limitations on the availability of published research materials or relevant information must be disclosed to the editors directly at the time of submission and cited in the submitted manuscript.
